Flight path changes upset hills residents

Air Services Australia and Perth Airport management have met to discuss complaints about an increase in flights over Perth's hills.
The federal member for Pearce Judi Moylan says residents in the hills are angry about the lack of consultation before the plane routes were changed.
They are also concerned about delays in having their complaints dealt with.
She has asked airport officials to spread the flight routes more evenly across the city.
"We've also asked them to provide for us charts showing the original flight paths and an overlay of the new flight paths so we can actually see where the new concentration of noise is and whether there's any opportunity then to spread that a bit more evenly so that no one area gets a concentration of noise," she said.
